Our Team

PRESIDENT & CFO | CPA, CMA, CRMA
My Role at The Corner Office
I left the comfort and stability of my corporate job in 2013 to start The Corner Office in my home office. The reason I left is simple — my passion is learning about and supporting local small businesses.
I want to see these companies grow and achieve their goals because I know exactly how exciting it is to start your own business. I understand the anxiety and the desire to succeed. I understand how good it feels to watch your business grow.
My strengths lie at the strategic level. I provide feedback to owners to help determine their next steps in their growth journey. I have a reputation for being incredibly honest with entrepreneurs in either supporting or challenging their business plans. Another big part of my role is supporting our internal team. Exceptional customer service is possible only when the entire staff feels appreciated, supported, and well-equipped in their roles.
Life Before The Corner Office
I am a generalist in finance and accounting with years of experience in several of Saskatchewan’s major industries. My career started at Crown Life Insurance in accounting, analytics work, and internal auditing. My time at The Wheat Pool (now Viterra) led to more diverse management roles including ERP and systems support. KPMG gave me significant experience in consulting related to risk management and financial management advisory services. I received my accounting designation from the Certified Management Accountants of Saskatchewan in 2000 (later to become CPA), and hold a Certification in Risk Management from Canadian Institute of Internal Audit.
Life Outside of The Corner Office
Two teenage daughters and their activities keep our family busy.
I devote a lot of my spare time to volunteering, especially when it involves our kids. For several years, I’ve been coaching both softball and volleyball for Queen City Volleyball, Regina Volleyball Club, North Regina Little League, and Storm Softball.
I was the Treasurer and Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee for Ranch Ehrlo Society for four years ending in 2019. In 2020, I was elected to the Board of Directors for CPA Saskatchewan. I look forward to supporting our Association and the many great accountants in this province.

My Role at The Corner Office
Life is always changing at The Corner Office, and is constantly keeping me on my toes; no day is ever the same and that is what I love. I am busy managing client relations, monthly and annual reviews, and ensuring the clients have a solid understanding of their numbers. My strengths lie in the details; I strive to make sure budgets, forecasts, and final numbers are seamless and accurate. I’m always looking for ways to give business owners new insight through financial reporting
Life Before The Corner Office
My accountancy career began at KPMG in the Enterprise and Tax Practice in 2009. Here, I learned to multitask while dealing with a wide variety of industries. Working with small business owners helped me realize my passion — helping small businesses succeed. After 5 years with the firm, I moved on to a couple roles in the private sector before beginning my work with The Corner Office in 2016. I completed my accounting designation in 2014 from the Certified Management Accountants of Saskatchewan
Life Outside of The Corner Office
I love spending time with friends and family. Our little family of four enjoys the sun and the outdoors, and we try to spend as much of our summer as possible camping around lakes all across Saskatchewan

SENIOR DATA ANALYST | BBA, PMP
My Role at The Corner Office
One of my strengths is developing new tools and integrating exciting new technology to improve a company’s processes. Throughout my career, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and experience with software, project management, business intelligence, and accounting. At The Corner Office, I get to use all this past experience to help clients simplify the process of collecting and analyzing their data. I enjoy discovering what is meaningful to different companies by working with them to create dashboards and reports that highlight key areas of their business. In short, I think I help save people a lot of the headaches and confusion that data entry and consolidation can cause.
Life Before The Corner Office
I’ve spent the majority of my career working in refinery project controls at the Co-op Refinery Complex, but my background also includes accounting and software implementation. I’ve used these skills in several large-scale asset maintenance projects. I helped build and optimize project schedules by working closely with the maintenance, procurement, inventory management, and accounting teams. Daily project performance reviews and forecasting analysis were part of my regular duties. It was here I found my knack for implementing business intelligence and reporting systems to create visuals that easily displayed the status of each project to stakeholders.
Life Outside of The Corner Office
I’m passionate about continuously learning about the ever-changing world of technology. During my spare time, I like researching new programming languages, tools and technologies, and when I’m not on the computer I like spending time with family and friends. I’ve got a young son named Rowan and it’s pretty great watching him experience things for the first time.

FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST | CPA
My Role at The Corner Office My role at The Corner Office is to identify, learn, and implement current software and apps so that we can help small and medium enterprises improve efficiencies. In working with owner-managed and community-based organizations, I have heard and seen how difficult maintaining records and learning accounting concepts and systems can be. Given the volume and complexity of financial transactions and systems, my focus is to make capturing transactions and reporting less burdensome and reports understandable, so that users can derive useful insights and make better decisions.
Life Before The Corner Office I studied accounting at University of Saskatchewan and began my accounting career in public practice in 2014. This involved performing engagements for owner-managed entities, community-based organizations, crown corporations, and First Nations. As part of these engagements, I was able to see a bit of Alberta and Saskatchewan, having worked in Hinton, Grand Prairie, Saint Paul, Stony Rapids, Hatchet Lake, and Grenfell. In 2021 I received my CPA designation and made the move to industry, where I served as a cost accountant for Brandt Industries. I looked for ways to add value in this role, and did this though capacity building and learning learning data modelling, DAX, and Power BI.
Life Outside of The Corner Office Outside of The Corner Office, a lot of my energy over the past year has gone towards learning how to rock climb outdoors and in September, I climbed 7 pitches of Rundlehorn on Mt. Rundle. It’s been a lot of fun learning different knots and the gear involved in climbing outdoors and how to rappel. Outside of rock climbing, I like bird-watching, throwing a disc, and playing board games.

My Role at The Corner Office
Everyday, every file, and every client is different, but my philosophy is always the same — I work to save every entrepreneur’s two most valuable resources: time and money. I do this by supplying financial expertise, advice, and reassurance tailored to each client’s needs and financial aptitude. I provide timely and high-quality financial information to improve decision-making, foster growth, and generate success.
At The Corner Office, I often act as a sounding board while providing clients with relevant and accurate information, reports, and resources to help them further understand the financial side of their business.
Life Before The Corner Office
I didn’t start my career as an accountant. In 2010 I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management.
I then spent 9 years working in Regina for a private R&D based manufacturing company that handled business on an international scale. My HR role within the company soon evolved and I learned that in a small company you’re often required to wear many hats. I liked the fit of the accounting hat I’d been asked to wear and, after embracing my new responsibilities, began my journey through the CPA Prep program in 2012. In May 2016 I successfully passed the CFE and became a Chartered Professional Accountant.
I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship; being involved in all aspects of a company’s finances helps me do what I love most—drive innovation and informed business decisions.

Family, friends, and travelling always centre our lives.
